I am pretty new to this. I was always into cars, but now I am looking into an R6. Can someone please explain the diff between the YZF600 and an R6?

I am not sure if there is a diff, but I called a dealer up and asked him he had a used blue 01-02 R6 (if anyone does please e mail me at jnardis13@hotmail.com) and he just started laughing at me and said theres no such thing. So now I am confused?

I know this may be pretty dumb but I would like to know.

I have replaced the grips on my dirtbike many times. I think its about time to change the ones on the R6.

Are they different or can I just go buy any grips?
