I am knee deep in to tearing my bike apart just to fix some wiring issues. I just got a 04 r6 3 days ago and its in a lot worst shape than I originally thought
it was in... it became clear to me this was going need a lot of tlc when the muffler fell off on the ride home. It was weird because I took the bike for a 30
min test drive and then my buddy took it for a test drive to see if I missed anything and there were no problems. Other than the muffler falling off on the way
home I also lost...

I have an '02 r6 with 5500 miles on it, polished frame, swingarm n rims, with a slip on d'n'd. I met this kid whom has a '99 900 rr with 4100 miles on it. He's a little dude and he says it is just to much power for him. I love the RR's and the value is around the same. For an even swap bike 4 bile is this a good trade? Why...why not? Any negitives from going from an'02 to a '99...(i.e. technoligy). Any info will be very valuable...thanks.
